* two to five inches of rainfall with isolated amounts approaching ten inches are expected across portions of eastern oklahoma this afternoon through late thursday morning. The heaviest amounts are expected north and west of a line from mcalester...to muskogee...to jay.
* the combination of high rainfall amounts...along with sporadic periods of very heavy rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches an hour...will cause poor drainage and urban areas to flood. The total rainfall may also be enough to cause creeks and rivers to overflow.
